Ed Holson

CSO at Photys

Ed Holson is the current CSO at Photys. Prior to joining Photys, Ed was an Entrepreneur In Residence at Atlas Venture from January 2013 to December 2017. From January 2008 to December 2016, they were the Director of the Stanley Center for Psychiatric Research at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard. From January 2003 to December 2008, they were Lead Senior Scientist at Infinity Pharmaceuticals, where they focused on medicinal chemistry and pharmaceutical development. Ed began their career as a medicinal chemist at Merck in 1995 and held that position until 1999.

Ed Holson has a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry from The University of Texas at Austin.
