Naveen Muthu has a wealth of work experience in the medical field. In 2011, they began as a Resident Physician at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. In 2015, they moved to The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia as a Clinical Informatics Fellow. In 2017, they became an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and Instructor of Pediatrics at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. In 2018, they were both the Co-Founder and Scientific Advisor at PHRASE Health, as well as the Director of the Human-Systems Informatics Lab at the Department of Biomedical and Health Informatics at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Most recently, they are set to become the Director of the Informatics Innovation Unit at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta in 2022, as well as an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Emory University School of Medicine.
Naveen Muthu received their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from the University of Missouri-Columbia, School of Medicine in 2011. Prior to that, they earned a B.A. in Biology from Harvard University in 2006.
