Kunal Kapoor

Kunal Kapoor has a diverse work experience in the fields of machine learning and data science. In 2022, they began working as a Senior Python Engineer at Phrasee. In 2021, they joined Healios as an ML/AI Engineer, where they were a member of the AI/ML team responsible for building software and tools to aid clinicians in the diagnosis of neurodevelopmental disorders. From 2018 to 2021, they worked as a Data Scientist at the UCL Institute of Child Health, where they built an image recognition model and trained and deployed it on Azure. In 2017, they were a Machine Learning Developer at Nomura, where they were involved in creating an in-house chat bot for employee use. Additionally, they worked as a Machine Learning Researcher at King's College London, where they attempted to create a model to predict adverse drugs reactions in psychiatric patients taking the drug Clozapine.

Kunal Kapoor has a Bachelor of Arts (Mod) in Computer Science & Business from Trinity College Dublin, obtained between 2012 and 2016. Kunal then went on to obtain an Msc in Data Science from King's College London between 2016 and 2017. Additionally, they have obtained an AWS Certified Machine Learning - Specialty certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in March 2022.
