Mariko H. holds a Ph.D. and has a diverse professional background in the pharmaceutical industry. Mariko worked at Takeda from 2010 to 2017 in several roles including Principal Scientist and Market Access Manager. Following this, Mariko served as a Research Fellow at the Japan Pharmaceutical Manufacturer Association from 2017 to 2019. Currently, Mariko is a researcher at 東京大学 and holds the position of Associate Director in the Policy department at Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine. Additionally, Mariko chairs the HTA taskforce at PhRMA and was a Strategic Partner at the World Economic Forum from 2020 to 2021.
