Matthew Diloreto

Matthew DiLoreto has extensive work experience in government affairs and advocacy. Matthew currently holds the position of Vice President of Advocacy & Strategic Alliances at PhRMA since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at HDA - Healthcare Distribution Alliance, initially as Vice President of State Government Affairs from 2016 to 2022, and later as Senior Vice President of State Government Affairs & Alliance Development until 2023. At HDA, they were responsible for spearheading nationwide state advocacy, leading a team of government affairs staff and lobbyists, and managing a multimillion-dollar budget.

Before joining HDA, DiLoreto held various roles at the National Community Pharmacists Association. Matthew served as Senior Director of State Government Affairs from 2011 to 2016, where they directed nationwide state lobbying efforts and formulated legislation. Prior to that, they worked as Government Relations Manager & Primary Lobbyist for state healthcare associations from 2009 to 2011.

DiLoreto also has experience in government relations and lobbying at the Pennsylvania Dental Association from 2007 to 2009, and as Director of Municipal and County Planning at Wilson Consulting Group, PC from 2005 to 2008.

Matthew DiLoreto earned a Bachelor's Degree in Regional Planning/Environmental Planner from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, which they attended from 1999 to 2004. Matthew also has additional certifications in Incident Command Systems (ICS) from FEMA, obtained in 2019.
