Pamela Roberto has a solid background in policy and research, with their most recent role being Vice President, Policy & Research at PhRMA since January 2019. Prior to this, they held positions such as Deputy Vice President, Senior Director, and Director in the same company, with a focus on policy and research. Before joining PhRMA, Pamela worked at the US Government Accountability Office as a Senior Health Policy Analyst from June 2005 to July 2007 and as a Health Policy Analyst from June 2003 to June 2005.
Pamela Roberto earned their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Pharmaceutical Health Services Research from the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy from 2012 to 2016. Pamela also obtained a Master of Public Policy (MPP) with a focus on Health Policy from Georgetown University between 2002 and 2004. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at Brown University, receiving an AB in History/Political Science from 1997 to 2001. Furthermore, they have pursued additional education in the field of wine, completing various programs such as the Level 4 Diploma in Wines from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust and certifications in Italian, Spanish, and French wines from the Wine Scholar Guild. Pamela is also a Certified Specialist of Wine from the Society of Wine Educators.
