Reid Porter

Reid Porter is a seasoned professional in communications and state relations, currently serving as Senior Director of State Relations at PhRMA since October 2021. Prior experience includes roles at the American Petroleum Institute, where Reid progressed from Manager of Communications to Senior Communications Issues Manager and Spokesperson, developing strategic communication efforts and engaging with influential media. Prior to that, Reid worked as an Account Supervisor at Edelman Public Relations Worldwide, focusing on media engagement and event coordination. The career began at Baker & Taylor as an International Sales Representative, achieving significant sales goals. Reid holds a B.S. in English and Spanish from Middlebury College and a Certificate in Publishing from Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism.
