Sebastien Eckersley-Maslin

Sebastien Eckersley-Maslin is an experienced entrepreneur and engineering professional, currently serving as the Founder and CEO of Phyllome, which focuses on creating sustainable food systems through robotics, genetics, and AI. With a rich history in leadership roles, Sebastien has been a member of the Executive Committee at YPO Sydney Pacific since December 2015 and co-founded SheStarts to empower women entrepreneurs. Previous ventures include founding BlueChilli Group and 199QUERY Pty Ltd, and serving as an investor and mentor for Startmate. Sebastien also has extensive military experience as a Weapons Electronics Engineering Officer in the Royal Australian Navy, where responsibilities included managing combat systems and operational deployment. Sebastien holds a Master's in Electronics Engineering and a Bachelor's in Electronics Engineering, both from UNSW, and is currently pursuing executive education at Harvard Business School.
