Robert Breckon

Mr. Breckon was appointed to the Board by Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan (OTPP) in November 2014. Mr. Breckon has over 20 years of operating and M&A experience in the global health and life sciences sector, including diagnostics, drug development services, instrumentation, nuclear medicine and sterilization, having served in a number of senior executive roles at Nordion Inc. (formerly known as MDS Inc.).

He was most recently Senior Vice President, Strategy & Corporate Development at MDS prior to joining TPC in 2010 as a Senior Advisor. He was also previously a Partner at Ernst & Young. Mr. Breckon has been a director of more than a dozen public and privately held companies and investment funds in Canada and the United States and is currently a director of INC Research. Mr. Breckon holds a joint B.Sc. in Commerce/Computer Science from the University of Toronto and is a graduate of Harvard’s Advanced Management Program.
