Heather Piernik

Heather Piernik has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Heather is currently serving as the Chief Compliance Officer and Vice President of Care Coordination at Physician Health Partners since 2023. Previously, they held roles such as the Chief Compliance Officer and Director of Care Management Programs and Compliance at the same company from 2019 to 2023. Before joining Physician Health Partners, Heather worked at Anthem, Inc. as the Director of Behavioral Health from 2018 to 2019. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Operations Officer and Director of Utilization Management at Behavioral Healthcare Inc. (BHI) from 2015 to 2018. Heather's earlier roles include Manager of Adult Outpatient Services and Director of Quality Improvement/Utilization Management at Community Reach Center from 2006 to 2014, as well as Director of Social Work at Centennial Peaks Hospital from 2004 to 2006.

Heather Piernik completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Education with a focus on Mathematics and Sociology at the University of Michigan from 1995 to 1999. Later on, they pursued further education and obtained a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Denver from 2001 to 2003.
