Jorge Sanchez

Jorge Sanchez, MD, is a seasoned medical professional with extensive experience in healthcare and financial independence education. Currently serving as a Partner at Physician on FIRE since September 2023, Jorge specializes in creating content for physicians and high-income earners on financial matters. As an Advisor and Medical Director at Carbon Health since September 2021, Jorge enhances healthcare delivery. Prior to this, Jorge co-founded and served as Chief Medical Officer at Alertive Healthcare from May 2018 to October 2021. Additionally, Jorge co-founded PKG Hospitalist Group, LLC, from January 2007 to December 2011, and contributed as an Instructor at the Yale University School of Medicine's YMS Women and Minorities Summer Programs between July 1990 and 1992. Jorge was educated at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, earning a Doctor of Medicine degree, and completed an Internal Medicine residency at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.
