Chelsea Hyder

Chelsea Hyder has a diverse work experience within the graphic design field. Chelsea started their career as a Student Career Ambassador at the Locks Career Center, Moore College of Art and Design in 2007. Chelsea then worked as a Design Intern at Spruce Avenue, specializing in hand screen printed and digital stationary. Chelsea went on to work at Perspectives Art Gallery as a Marketing Designer and Gallery Associate, where they curated gallery shows and window displays and handled marketing design. Chelsea also represented Perspectives Art Gallery at Ellicott City Historic District Partnership.

In 2011, Chelsea joined JSR Associates, Inc. as a Graphic Designer, designing marketing and educational tools for senior living facilities and foundations. Chelsea also worked on a series of educational illustrations and infographics for China Senior Care.

Chelsea's next role was at Harvey Agency, where they spent several years as a Junior Designer, Graphic Designer, and Senior Graphic Designer. During their time at Harvey Agency, Chelsea worked on various design projects for clients such as Procter & Gamble, Covergirl, Bubbles Salons, Olay, Pantene, McCormick, Tessemae, AAF Baltimore, Flying Dog Brewery, Manischewitz, Barcs, and Glory Days Grill.

In 2019, Chelsea started working concurrently at Veterinarian Recommended Solutions and PRN Vision Group. At both companies, they held the positions of Senior Graphic Designer and Art Director.

Additionally, Chelsea runs their freelance design business, Chelsea Lynne Designs, offering art direction and design services for businesses. Chelsea specializes in branding, illustration, packaging, book cover design, and print marketing. Upstate Coffee has been one of their ongoing freelance clients since July 2019.

Chelsea Hyder attended the Maryland Institute College of Art from 2012 to 2013, where they earned a Post-Baccalauteate Certificate in Graphic Design. Prior to that, they studied at the Moore College of Art and Design from 2005 to 2009, graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree. Chelsea'sstudies at Moore focused on Textile Design and 2D Fine Arts.
