Akshay Jain

Akshay Jain has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Akshay most recently worked as the Head of Projects & Expansion (Offline Centers) at PW (PhysicsWallah) from October 2022 onwards. Prior to that, they served as the Team Lead - Customer Success at Classplus from May 2021 to October 2022.

In 2020, Akshay worked as the Project Head for SE Asia & Middle East at OYO from February 2020 to May 2021. Before that, they held the position of Country Project Head & Country Launcher at OYO Vietnam from September 2018 to January 2020. In this role, they played a crucial part in setting up the OYO business in Vietnam, building local capabilities, and hiring and training a local team.

Akshay's earlier experiences include working as a Project Manager at OYO from July 2017 to August 2018, and as a Senior Planning Engineer at Larsen & Toubro from July 2016 to June 2017. Akshay also started their career as a Graduate Engineering Trainee at Larsen & Toubro from July 2015 to June 2016.

Furthermore, Akshay has demonstrated their leadership skills by serving as the Overall Coordinator for Team Cultural Affairs NITJ 14-15 & Utkansh'15 from July 2014 to May 2015. Akshay also gained valuable industry experience as a Summer Intern at L&T Construction Limited in June and July 2014.

Akshay Jain completed their Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Dr. B. R. Ambedkar NIT Jalandhar in the years 2011 to 2015. Akshay is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Leadership & Strategy, Operations & Supply Chain from SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) starting in 2021 and expected to complete in 2023. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications, including a Master of Business Administration (Working Executives) from NMIMS Global in January 2023, as well as certifications in Quantitative Methods, Finance, Spreadsheet Modeling, and Management Communications from Harvard Business Publishing Education in 2022.
