Bernd Kaestner

Bernd Kaestner has extensive experience in high precision electrical measurements and nano-technology, currently serving as a researcher at the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB) since September 2006. Previous roles include a researcher position at the National Physical Laboratory from April 2004 to August 2006, and at Hitachi Europe Ltd in the Corporate Technology Group from June 2003 to April 2004, focusing on opto-electronic devices. Bernd Kaestner holds a PhD in Physics from the University of Cambridge and has completed degrees at the University of Oxford, Duke University, Technische Universität Dresden, The University of Edinburgh, and Leipzig University, supplemented by technical training in Technical Physics.
