Christian Hahn is a highly experienced physicist currently serving as a Staff Scientist at Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB) since October 2017. Prior to this role, Christian was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at New York University from November 2014 to September 2017 and completed a PhD as a candidate at CEA - Commissariat à l'énergie atomique et aux énergies alternatives from October 2011 to October 2014. During the earlier phase of education and training, Christian worked as a Diploma Student at Forschungszentrum Jülich, focusing on the study of magnetic molecules using scanning tunneling microscopy/spectroscopy. Christian earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physics from Pierre and Marie Curie University from 2011 to 2014 and holds a Diplom in Physics from the University of Cologne, completed in 2011.
