Nicolas Spethmann

Nicolas Spethmann's work experience includes being the Head of Quantentechnologie-Kompetenzzentrum (QTZ) at PTB since February 2019, as well as a Research Scholar at PTB starting in July 2017. Prior to that, they were a Research Scholar at the University of Kaiserslautern from April 2016 to July 2017, and at UC Berkeley from November 2012 to May 2016.

Nicolas Spethmann started their education at the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg in 2001 and completed their studies in 2007. Nicolas obtained a Diplom degree in Physics during this period. Afterward, they pursued further education at The University of Bonn from 2007 to 2012, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Physics.
