Gal Zakai

Gal Zakai is a QA agronomist at Phytech, specializing in plant-based farming since May 2021. Previously, Gal served as a Research Laboratory Manager in the Soil and Water Sciences department at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 2020, where responsibilities included planning and executing experiments and providing support to students. Gal held the position of Director of a community technology center at Machshava Tova in 2017 and worked as a laboratory technician at the Weizmann Institute of Science from 2014 to 2017, focusing on protein crystallization at the Israel Structural Proteomics Center. Gal holds a Master of Science in Soil and Water Sciences and a Bachelor of Science in Agroecology and Plant Health from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
