Matt Fowler

Matt Fowler is the current VP of Finance at Phytelligence. Prior to this, they served as the SVP Accounting & Finance at AuthenticID from December 2019 to May 2021, where they directed the finance, accounting, and reporting of a rapidly growing fraud prevention and identity verification SaaS platform. This included the development of accounting policies, budgets, US GAAP financial statements, accounting operations, fundraising, and due diligence process.

At AuthenticID, Fowler prepared monthly financial package and summary details for the board of directors, presented financial results at board meetings, and presented the company with CEO to leading VC and PE investors - which resulted in five term sheets received and $100m raised. Matt also established month-end reporting standards and reporting framework, managed staff of four employees, built fund raising model for lenders & equity investors, presented the company with CEO to term debt lenders - resulting in three term sheets received - managed lender & investor due diligence, managed all treasury operations, built cash management and forecasting tool, managed year-end audit, reviewed new agreements and corporate transactions.

Before AuthenticID, Fowler served as the Director - Corporate Controller at Napster (now Rhapsody International) from September 2016 to June 2018.

After graduating with an MBA in finance from Gonzaga University, Matt Fowler pursued a career in accounting and economics. Matt eventually became certified by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) in Series 7, Series 24, Series 28, and Series 63.

Matt Fowler reports to Glen Donald, President. They are on a team with Dr. Amit Dhingra - Founder, CSO, Wendy Neal - Outside Legal Counsel, and David LeBreton - VP of Operations.
