Helen Walsh

Helen Walsh is a Cell Specialist at Phytoform since February 2022, following a tenure as Senior Scientist and Research Scientist in molecular biology at Supplant from January 2020 to February 2022. Previously, Helen served as Lab Manager at the University of the Witwatersrand from April 2019 to January 2020, overseeing the tissue culture facility and training new researchers in the Cassava Biotechnology Lab. Helen Walsh holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Plant Genetics from the University of the Witwatersrand (2013-2019) and a Master's degree in Virology, along with an Honours Degree in Biology and a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, all from the University of Pretoria.
