Katrien Schäfer

Katrien Schäfer is a results-driven leader with extensive experience in Key Account Management, Operational Excellence, and transformation within the Nutritional Ingredients, Food, Pharma, and Biotech sectors. As the Senior Expert in Process Optimization at PhytoLab, they focus on enhancing efficiency and developing innovative strategies for analytical procedures. Previously, they held leadership roles at Eurofins and DSM, where they successfully expanded business lines, managed cross-functional teams, and contributed to corporate strategy. Katrien holds a Dr. rer. nat. in Food Chemistry from the Technical University of Braunschweig, complemented by multiple state examinations in Food Chemistry.
