Dr. Lindblad is the Director of the Angstrom Laboratory and Professor of Microbial Chemistry at Uppsala University in Sweden. He is also the Dean of Science and Technology Collaboration for Uppsala University. Dr. Lindblad’s and his senior scientific team’s research focuses on renewable solar fuel production via engineered cyanobacterial microbial cell factories. His research includes the development of liquid transportation fuels and microbial-based H2-production/hydrogenases at applied, physiological, biochemical and molecular levels – in total 180 scientific publications. At present Dr. Lindblad is leading one of the research groups in the Swedish Energy Agency program on Natural and Artificial Photosynthesis.
