Ramanan Subramanian

Head of Data Science at PI.EXCHANGE

Ramanan Subramanian has worked in various roles in the field of data science since 2004. Ramanan began their career as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Georgia Institute of Technology. In 2007, they took on a Graduate Intern role at Intel Corporation. Subsequently, they worked as a Research Fellow at University of South Australia from 2009 to 2015. From 2015 to 2017, they were a Research Fellow at Monash University. Finally, they have been the Head of Data Science, Lead Data Scientist, and Data Scientist at PI.EXCHANGE since 2017.

Ramanan Subramanian has a comprehensive educational background. In 1997, they completed their studies at Modern Senior Secondary School in Chennai, India. Ramanan then attended Indian Institute of Technology, Madras from 1999 to 2003, where they earned a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering. From 2004 to 2006, they earned an MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology. Ramanan then continued their studies at Georgia Institute of Technology and earned a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2009. In addition, they have obtained certifications in "Importing and Cleaning Data in R" and "R Programming" from DataCamp in May 2017.
