David Taylor

David Taylor has more than 30-years’ experience as a financial professional, with an exemplary record of success as an investment manager across a range of sectors. He retired in 2019 as President and Chief Investment Officer of Taylor Asset Management, a firm he founded and which managed up to $2 billion in equity funds across a number of mandates.

Prior to founding Taylor Asset Management in 2012, Mr. Taylor spent more than 20 years as a portfolio manager at a number of leading Canadian investment firms including Goodman & Company and the Ontario Teachers Pension Plan. He is a 16-time Lipper and Morningstar Mutual Fund Award winner.

Mr. Taylor is a CFA, and earned an MBA in finance from the Schulich School of Business at York University.
