Sandeep Kumar

Sandeep Kumar, PMP® has extensive experience in various roles within the technology and project management field. Sandeep currently holds the position of Head - Digitization, Integration and Shared Services at PI Industries Ltd, a role they have held since August 2018. Additionally, they served as the Head - Financial Shared Services at the same company from August 2018 to May 2019.

Prior to their current position, Sandeep worked as an Information Technology & Shared Service Consultant at Interpublic Group (IPG), SGN Software, and Mrs. Bectors Food (Cremica) from December 2013 to July 2018. From August 2009 to November 2013, they worked as the Chief Information Officer at Erstwhile Viom Networks, a subsidiary of the TATA Group.

Sandeep also gained experience at AIG as the Vice President and Head of Project Management and Information Technology for AIG Consumer Finance from March 2008 to August 2009. Before that, they worked at GENPACT as the Assistant Vice President (Master Black Belt) for the Insurance Vertical, where they supported two major insurance clients as a Master Black Belt for Process Optimization, Productivity, Lean, and Six Sigma from May 2006 to February 2008.

Their career began at IBM India Ltd as a Project Manager from January 2004 to May 2006. Prior to that, Sandeep worked as a Senior IT Project Manager at BILT from August 1997 to December 2003. Sandeep also gained experience in the sales and marketing field as a Sales Officer / Marketing Officer at JK Tyre from August 1995 to July 1998.

Sandeep Kumar, PMP®, has a diverse education background. In 2004, they obtained their PMP certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) in the USA. Prior to that, in 1998, they completed two executive programs at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, specializing in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management, as well as ERP Implementation. Sandeep holds an M.Sc. in Operations Research from Delhi University, which they earned between 1992 and 1994. For their undergraduate studies, they pursued a B. Sc. degree with Honors in Maths from St. Columbas College from 1985 to 1990. Sandeep completed their matriculation from St. Xavier's School, Hazaribagh, between 1977 and 1985. Additionally, Sandeep has received various certifications throughout their career, such as Introduction to ESG: Environmental, Social, and Governance and Designing a Presentation from LinkedIn in 2023 and 2021, respectively. Sandeep also completed the certified programs in Supply Chain Management and ERP Implementation from IIM Bangalore in 1998 and 1997, respectively.
