Shilpa Sachdeva Bhullar has extensive work experience in various legal and corporate affairs roles. Shilpa started their career as a Trainee at Dua Associates, where they worked on winding-up petitions and intellectual property matters. Shilpa then moved on to Amarchand Mangaldas, where they supported a Litigation Partner and worked on service tax, intellectual property advisory, and foreign trade remedies.

Shilpa then joined Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Co. Ltd. as an Assistant Manager, handling litigation and pre-litigation work related to marine insurance, motor insurance, negotiable instruments, recovery suits, and human resources. Shilpa also handled queries from insurance regulators and drafted replies to legal notices.

Next, Shilpa worked at Future Generali as a Deputy Manager Legal, where they handled litigation and pre-litigation work involving motor insurance, directors and officers insurance, negotiable instruments, and recovery suits. Shilpa also drafted lease deeds and contracts with vendors, agents, and service providers, and addressed queries from insurance regulators.

Shilpa then joined UnitedLex Corporation as an Assistant Manager, where they drafted contracts, conducted gap analysis of commercial contracts and RFPs, reviewed service level agreements and software licensing agreements, and maintained compliance records.

After that, they joined DSM as a Legal Counsel, advising business groups on pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, and material sciences for various regions.

Shilpa also had a role at Centrient Pharmaceuticals as a Senior Legal Counsel for the BU AMEA, providing legal support on various projects and serving as the chairperson for the Internal Complaints Committee.

Shilpa then joined PI Industries Ltd as the Head of Legal, Risk & Compliance. Shilpa also coordinated with stakeholders across the company to develop positions on key policy issues, represented the company with global trade organizations, and monitored public policy developments.

Shilpa Sachdeva Bhullar completed their Bachelor of Science in Law and Bachelor of Laws from Symbiosis Law School, Pune from 2001 to 2006. In 2004 to 2006, they pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Rights from NLS, Bangalore. Additionally, they obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Consumer Housing Laws from ILS, Pune in 2004 to 2005. Prior to their higher education, they attended BDPS from 1998 to 2001.
