Steffen Schreiber

Steffen Schreiber serves as the Director of Global Innovation & Scouting and Head of the PI Technology Hub in Karlsruhe at PI (Physik Instrumente) Group since February 2012, leading an interdisciplinary team of 13 employees in areas such as idea and innovation management, trend scouting, and product digitalization. Prior roles include Director of Global Innovation & Scouting, Head of Corporate Advanced Research, and Senior Expert in the advance development and parallel kinematic systems, focusing on digitalization, predictive maintenance, industrial communication, and advanced technologies like IoT and machine learning. Steffen's academic background includes a Doctor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Diplom-Ingenieur in Mechanical Engineering from Technische Universität Dresden, complemented by experience as a project engineer in research and development, with expertise in reverse engineering and optical measurement technology.
