Sumit Bhattacharyya is a seasoned technical product manager with expertise in motion controllers for nano positioning systems, currently holding a position at Physik Instrumente (PI) GmbH & Co. KG since May 2016. Prior to this, Sumit served as a project manager at NDT Global, overseeing internal R&D projects in pipeline inspection tools while managing a team of approximately 15 engineers. With extensive experience at Comsoft GmbH, Sumit led various international projects in air traffic management as both deputy head of department and project manager. Sumit's career began as a software engineer at Quark and included roles as a student assistant at RWTH Aachen University and internships at Siemens Healthcare, contributing to advancements in document management systems and MRI technology. Sumit holds a Dipl. Ing. in Electrical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University, completed in 1996.
