Leon DeLeon is an experienced culinary professional currently serving as Corporate Chef at THE PIADA GROUP since July 2016, where responsibilities include collaboration with various partners and chefs to maintain food quality and safety standards. Previously, Leon held the position of Executive Chef at Eddie Merlot's Prime Aged Beef and Seafood from December 2013 to May 2015, and at Cantina Laredo from March 2009 to December 2013. Furthermore, Leon spent over a decade as Executive Chef at BBRG from August 1997 to October 2008. Piada Italian Street Food was inspired by the roadside family-run food carts and markets found in Rimini, Italy, and the company's first restaurant opened in 2010. In 2013, Nation's Restaurant News recognized Piada as a community-minded restaurant company in its annual "Hot Concepts" awards. Headquartered in Columbus, Ohio,Piada has locations throughout Ohio, Indiana, Michigan and Texas and is opening locations in Minneapolis.
