Piano Teacher
Christie Poetoehena is an experienced piano educator with over a decade of teaching experience. Currently serving as a piano teacher since May 2009, Christie has instructed students in-home and online. Previous roles include serving as a piano instructor at Huston Performing Arts from August 2019 to August 2021, where instruction was provided to students of all ages and levels. Christie also taught piano and music theory for a variety of ages in Orange County with Your Music Lessons from 2009 to December 2018, which involved scheduling, invoicing, and organizing recitals. Earlier work experience includes roles at California Baptist University and Auto Club Speedway. Christie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music from California State University, Fullerton and an Associate's degree in Business/Commerce from Riverside City College.
Piano Teacher
I teach all levels, including beginners and adults. I prefer teaching in my studio as I feel that it is a positive environment for learning. I have a wonderful Steinway 7' Grand that I am happy to share with my students. Please feel free to contact me to arrange for lessons.
