Piano Teacher
Nancy Gort is an experienced music educator and piano teacher, currently associated with Drome Sound Music since September 1990. Over the years, Nancy has taught piano both privately and in various educational settings, including serving as a music teacher at Saint Kateri Tekakwitha Parish School and as a middle school music teacher at Ballston Spa Central School. Nancy's academic background includes a Master of Arts in Piano Pedagogy and a Bachelor of Science in Music Teacher Education from The College of Saint Rose, along with an Associate degree in Paralegal Studies from SUNY Schenectady County Community College. Additionally, Nancy has worked as a graduate assistant in music and contributed as a faculty piano teacher in a program at The College of Saint Rose.
Piano Teacher
I teach all levels, including beginners and adults. I prefer teaching in my studio as I feel that it is a positive environment for learning. I have a wonderful Steinway 7' Grand that I am happy to share with my students. Please feel free to contact me to arrange for lessons.
