Chen Fong has a strong work history in the semiconductor industry, with experience at multiple companies.
From 2000 to 2002, Chen worked as an Engineer at TSMC, where they were responsible for track, scanner, and metrology sponsorship, as well as coordinating with ASML Scanner FCN.
In 2002, Chen joined SMIC as an Assistant Director. During their tenure, they focused on process development and control for flash and logic technologies, specifically working on the 43nm flash process and the 65/90/110nm logic process.
In 2012, Chen moved to XMC as an Assistant Director. Chen led technology transfers for logic 65/45 and developed lithography processes for flash 32/45/65/90.
From 2014 to 2019, Chen returned to SMIC in the role of Snr. Director. Chen was responsible for standardizing, aligning, and optimizing technical processes across multiple fabs, solving puzzles and providing support as needed.
Most recently, in 2019, Chen joined PiBond as the General Manager and Vice President of Engineering. In this role, they have focused on expanding sales and marketing channels in China to increase revenue.
Chen Fong completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology from 1997 to 2000. Additionally, during the same time period, Chen Fong also earned another Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Education from the same institution.
