Jason Pooley

Jason Pooley has a diverse work experience in the agricultural industry. Jason started their career in 1996 as a Farm Manager at Smithfield Foods, where they worked until 2003. Following that, they held various roles at Smithfield Foods, including Operations Manager from 2003 to 2011, Genetic Improvement Manager in 2011, and Director of Genetic Production from 2012 to 2016. In 2016, they joined the Pig Improvement Company (PIC) - North America as a Supply Chain Manager and later transitioned to the role of Health Programs Manager in 2021.

Jason Pooley attended California State Polytechnic University-Pomona from 1990 to 1995, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science. Following this, from 2007 to 2009, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Management at West Texas A&M University.
