Jean Poulin started their work experience in 2003 as a Biosecurity and Production Supervisor at Génétiporc Inc., where they were responsible for ensuring adherence to biosecurity rules and supervising production operations. Jean then worked as a Coordinator at Génétiporc Inc/Aliments Breton, where they coordinated the production network and worked on improving production networks. In 2005, they became a Sales Representative and Technical Support at Génétiporc Inc, covering Eastern Canada. From 2010 to 2013, they held the position of Director of Operations at Génétiporc, overseeing operations. Eventually, they joined Genus plc in 2013 as a Supply Chain Project Manager, managing a purebred production network and facilitating the international dispersal of genes.
