Jessica Klopp

Jessica Klopp is currently the Director of Business Operations at PIC Therapeutics. Prior to that, they were a Senior Program Manager - Operations at Genuity Science from 2018-2021, where they were responsible for building and monitoring commercial business workflows and strategies within global laboratory operations, and managed the entire NGS product portfolio by leveraging technical expertise. Jessica also provided strategic direction, leadership, and project governance for a multimillion-dollar project portfolio, and coordinated all project inputs with several functional/technical directors, managers, and project teams to develop and implement project tools, processes, and methodologies.

From 2012-2018, Jessica was an Alliance Manager at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, where they oversaw an operating budget ($5M/5yrs) and ensured contractual obligations were met through structured milestones and key performance tracking. Jessica also centralized communication and negotiation for key internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, they were a Project Manager and Process Development Associate II, where they were the primary contact for operational project management, established and maintained functionally integrated project schedules, oversaw the execution of operational strategies, resolved roadblocks through active troubleshooting, and escalated key deployment risks to drive solutions. Jessica was also responsible for library construction for Fluidigm Access Array (microfluidic multiplex validations), Nextera, TrueSeq Custom Amplicon, and microbiomes (16S), and trained multiple technicians at different skill levels on several protocols.

Jessica Klopp obtained their Bachelor's degree from Clarkson University in 2011, where they studied Biology/Biological Sciences and Pre-Medical Sciences. Jessica then went on to complete their Master's Degree in Business Management from Harvard Extension School in 2017. Additionally, they hold a Lean Six Sigma Certification and is a Licensed Agile Scrum Master from Scrum, Inc.
