Alberto Rigamonti

Alberto Rigamonti has extensive experience in engineering and technical support, currently serving as a Technical Support and Field Application Engineer at Picarro, Inc. since August 2021, focusing on system deployment in the EMEA region and advanced gas leak detection systems. Prior to this role, Alberto was an Assistant Departmental Safety Officer at CERN, ensuring safety compliance in the Experimental Physics department and overseeing the safety of building 107. Alberto's background includes a master thesis on vibration control in adaptive optics at the University of Geneva and an electrical engineering internship at Logitech, where a novel mechanical design for a PTZ camera was developed. Additionally, experience as a Teaching Assistant at EPFL and mechanical design work at Datalogic and SIG has contributed to a solid foundation in mechanical engineering, supported by a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from EPFL.
