Francois Xavier Rongere

Francois Xavier Rongere is a seasoned professional in the energy sector with extensive experience in research, development, and innovation. Currently serving as Senior Director - Solution Architect Climate and Safety at Picarro, Inc. since August 2022, Rongere focuses on developing solutions for methane detection, emission quantification, and abatement. Prior to this role, Rongere spent over a decade at Pacific Gas and Electric Company, initially as Manager of Energy Efficiency Products for the Industry and later as Senior Manager of R&D and Innovation, overseeing a broad portfolio of projects related to decarbonization, renewable natural gas, and hydrogen. Rongere founded and led Easenergy as Chief Executive Officer, establishing a unique corporate venture organization in the energy sector for EDF Group. Earlier in the career, Rongere held the position of Research and Development Manager at EDF from 1985 to 1999.
