Magdalena E. G. Hofmann

Magdalena E. G. Hofmann is currently serving as a Sales Support & Application Scientist at Picarro, Inc. since January 2018. Previously, Magdalena was a Post-doctoral researcher at Universiteit Utrecht from July 2013 to June 2017, focusing on atmospheric environmental analytics and supervising students at various academic levels. Magdalena also worked as a laboratory manager at the Max Planck Institute for Biogeochemistry, where responsibilities included the establishment and management of a stable isotope laboratory for greenhouse gas monitoring. Prior experience includes being a research assistant at Georg-August-Universität Göttingen, contributing to atmospheric research and stable isotope tracer development. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Geochemistry and a Diplom in Geosciences from The University of Göttingen, alongside a Bachelor of Arts in International Economics and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Geology/Earth Science from The University of Auckland.
