Ching-Mei Chen has a diverse work experience. Ching-Mei began their career in 2000 as a Financial Analyst Intern at Johns Manville Personal Injury Trust. In 2001, they were a Summer Intern at the Singapore Economic Development Board and a Graduate Research Assistant at Cornell Higher Education Research Institute. In 2002, they became a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Cornell University. In 2003, they were a Summer Intern at the California Energy Commission. From 2006 to 2009, they were an Operations Research Analyst at the US Department of Defense. In 2009, they became a Co-Founder at PicCollage, where they also held the roles of Co-founder, Head of Operations, Co-founder, Head of Business and Community, and Co-founder, Head of Product. In 2022, they became a Co-Founder at the Casa Club and a Student at Rome Business School, as well as a Travel Team member at Italy Segreta.

Ching-Mei Chen has a diverse educational background. Ching-Mei obtained an 'O' Levels from Raffles Girls' School between 1992 and 1995. Ching-Mei then attended Hwa Chong Junior College and obtained their 'A' Levels in Economics and Mathematics between 1996 and 1997. Ching-Mei proceeded to Penn State University where they earned a B.Sc. (Summa Cum Laude) in Economics and Mathematics between 1998 and 2001. Ching-Mei completed their education with a Ph.D. in Economics from Cornell University between 2001 and 2006. Most recently, they obtained a Finance for Startups certification from Coursera in June 2021. Ching-Mei is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Hospitality Administration/Management from Rome Business School between 2022 and 2023.
