Contributing Photographer at Picfair

Maureen Ruddy Burkhart is an accomplished photographer with extensive experience spanning several decades. Currently serving as a contributing photographer at Picfair since November 2017, Burkhart specializes in travel and street photography. As an independent fine artist and photographer since January 2006, multiple projects are frequently underway, in collaboration with POHK. Additionally, Burkhart has been a project documentary photographer for Power of Hope Kibera since July 2013, focusing on the positive impact of a liquid soap initiative in the Kibera slums of Kenya. As an editorial stock photography contributor at Alamy since August 2006, Burkhart's earlier career includes significant roles in filmmaking and educational media at Technicolor Government Services from 1983 to 1987. Educational qualifications include a BFA in Photography and Film from the San Francisco Art Institute and a B.S. in Arts and Media from Grand Valley State University.
