Sally Hart has a long and varied work experience. Sally began their career in 1999 as a Sales and Marketing Assistant at Jam Factory Contemporary Craft and Design. In 2003, they moved on to become a Graduate Architect at DesignInc Architects. From 2006 to 2007, they were a Tutor at the University of South Australia, teaching Bachelor of Architecture 4th year Sally'stories and Theories of Architecture, and 3rd year Theories of Modernity. In 2007, they began working as a Designer at RTKL. In 2011, they co-founded Gasket Gallery. From 2014 to present, they have held various positions at Picfair, including Chief Operating Officer, Creative Director and Picture Editor. Sally has also worked as a Research Assistant at the Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London, and an Assistant at Art on the Underground.

Sally Hart completed a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Sally'story/Classics from the University of Adelaide between 1996 and 1999. Sally then went on to receive a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) from the University of South Australia between 2001 and 2005. Finally, they completed a Master's degree in Photography and Urban Culture from Goldsmiths, University of London in 2014.
