Reema Maharaj has over 25 years of experience in the food industry, primarily with Pick n Pay since December 1998, where roles have included Technical Manager - Regulatory and Packaging Compliance, Regulatory Affairs Manager, Technical Manager - Packaging, and Food Technologist. Prior experience includes serving as a Microbiologist at National Brands Ltd from September 1995 to June 1998 and as a Trainee Food Technologist at Renown Fresh Meat from January 1995 to August 1995. Reema holds a B Tech in Food Technology, along with diplomas in Production Management and Packaging, awarded by Durban University of Technology between 1992 and 1994.
