Eric Callahan

Eric Callahan is an experienced data professional currently serving as the Principal Data Solutions and Senior Data Strategist at Pickaxe Foundry since October 2022, where Eric architects and implements modern cloud data solutions for various clients. Eric also mentors data science students at Springboard and has previously held significant roles such as Head of Analytics at Understood, where Eric led a team rebuilding effort amidst a focus shift towards foundational business analytics. Their teaching experience includes guest lecturing on cloud computing at Southern Methodist University and instructing in data analytics bootcamps at multiple universities. Eric's extensive industry background includes key positions at American Express and Wyndham Worldwide, where Eric drove analytics initiatives to enhance business intelligence and optimize marketing strategies. Eric holds a Master of Professional Studies in Statistics from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Music from Ithaca College.
