Tom McConnell

Director Of Facilities Design Services at Pickering Firm, Inc.

Tom McConnell has over 30 years of professional experience in the architecture and design industry. Tom started their career at ACHW in 1988 as an Intern Architect and worked there until 1992. From 1992 to 1993, they worked as an Intern Architect at Barge Waggoner Sumner Canon. Tom then joined Hnedak Bobo Group in 1993 as an Architect and stayed there until 1998. In 2002, Tom McConnell joined Pickering Firm, Inc. as a Principal/Architect, where they took on the role of Senior Project Manager for a full-service A/E firm, primarily focusing on industrial facilities and retail design within the Buildings Group. Currently, Tom holds the position of Director of Facilities Design Services at Pickering Firm, Inc.

Tom McConnell attended Germantown High School from 1979 to 1983. Afterward, they pursued a degree in Economics at Rhodes College from 1984 to 1985. Eventually, Tom earned a B. Arch degree in Architecture from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where they studied from 1985 to 1990.
