Allison Dickey, EdD, is an experienced educator specializing in special education. Since August 2017, Allison has served as an Intervention Specialist for Mild/Moderate and Moderate/Intensive needs at Pickerington Local School District. Prior to this role, Allison was an Associate Professor in Special Education at Ashland University from August 2003 to June 2017, and during that time, held the position of Chair for the Department of Inclusive Services and Exceptional Learners from 2012 to 2016. Earlier in Allison's career, from December 1994 to June 2003, significant experience was gained as an Exceptional Education Placement Specialist in Orange County Public Schools, working at Lockhart Middle School and Boone High School. Allison holds a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Special Education from the University of Central Florida.
