Dris Upitis

Dris Upitis is the Head of Ocho Capital and Ocho Investments, a single family office focused on strategic investments in public stocks, distressed assets, and private businesses. They co-founded and served as Executive Director of the Atlas Project, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering individuals through personal growth and self-awareness trainings from 2017 to 2023. Dris has held various board positions across several organizations, including TruBridge, Lamp Post Franchisee, Coalition Foods, and Picket Homes, while formerly managing portfolios at Viking Global Investors and Credit Suisse. They earned an MBA with High Honors in Finance and Accounting from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BA with Honors in Economics from Grinnell College.
