Jame Sun

James Sun is a software engineer at Pickle Robot Company, starting in March 2022. Prior to this, they were a senior mechanical engineer at Optimus Ride from February 2021 to March 2022. Jame also worked as an R&D engineer at Formlabs from June 2019 to February 2021. Before that, they were a graduate research assistant at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Electrochemical Energy Laboratory from September 2017 to May 2019. Jame served as a research assistant and simulation consultant at the University of Waterloo from September 2014 to July 2017. Additionally, James worked as an engineering co-op at the Canadian Space Agency and as a forensics engineering associate at Advantage Forensics Inc. in 2016. Jame was a research assistant at DTU - Technical University of Denmark from May 2015 to August 2015. James started their career as a technical services engineer co-op at ANSYS, Inc. from January 2014 to April 2014.

Jame Sun completed a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Waterloo from 2012 to 2017. Later, from 2017 to 2019, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
