Andreas Theodorou

Andreas Theodorou has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Andreas is currently serving as the Editor in Chief (Tech Software) at Future, a position they have held since March 2023. Prior to this, Andreas worked as the Content Director at Pickleheads starting from February 2023.

From 2022 to 2023, Andreas worked at Finixio as the Chief Editor (Software), where they directed the software content output and managed a team of Writers and Editors. Andreas also created documentation on best practices and provided training to maximize content effectiveness based on current research.

Before that, Andreas served as the Senior Content Marketing Manager at Marcura in 2022, where they took ownership of web content for the MCaaS website and analyzed and redesigned the SEO plan. Andreas also generated news content for the Marcura website.

In their previous roles at ProPrivacy from 2020 to 2022, Andreas held multiple positions. Andreas started as a Technical Writer, preparing and maintaining technical documents and communicating technical aspects to users. Andreas then became a Content Editor, leading a team in creating high-impact web content, providing editorial oversight, and developing content strategies.

Andreas also worked as a Commissioning/Article Editor at the Alluvium (British Association for Contemporary Literary Studies) from 2018 to 2021. In this role, they created, rewrote, and edited articles for a publishing house and magazine, ensuring compliance with editorial policy and publishing requirements.

Additionally, Andreas served as a British Library Labs Researcher in Residence at The British Library from 2017 to 2021.

Other early experiences include working as a Content Writer at Wranx from 2019 to 2020, a Teaching Assistant and Student Mentor at Liverpool John Moores University in various periods from 2015 to 2017.

Andreas Theodorou pursued their education at Liverpool John Moores University, starting in 2013, where they completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature (British and Commonwealth) in 2016. Andreas then continued their academic journey at the same university and attained a Master's degree in Research-English between 2016 and 2017.
