David Yackzan

David Yackzan is a Robotics Engineer at PickNik Robotics since August 2023, with a strong background in robotics and mechanical engineering. Previously, David worked as a Robotics Software Engineer at Badger Technologies, focusing on the development and maintenance of software for autonomous retail robots. David's experience includes roles as a Robotics Software Engineer Intern and Robotics Research Assistant at the University of Kentucky, and a Makerspace Facilitator at the University of Dayton School of Engineering. Additional experience includes mechanical engineering co-ops at STOBER Drives Inc. and the University of Dayton Research Institute, where research and design contributions were made. David holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kentucky and a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Dayton.
