Xavier Charles

Xavier CHARLES has extensive work experience in the field of information security and network management. Xavier currently serves as the Chief Information Security Officer at Pickup since October 2023. Prior to this role, they were the Infrastructure and Network Manager and Business Unit Security Officer at Pickup from December 2018 to October 2023. Before joining Pickup, Xavier worked as a System and Network Engineer & Business Unit Security Officer at Pickup from November 2015 to December 2018. Xavier started their career at NSG Pilkington as an IS Technical Analyst in 2000, where they gained experience in systems administration, project management, and vendor management. Xavier also worked as an Assistant Informatique at Pilkington in 1999. Xavier has a strong background in managing IT systems, implementing security measures, and supporting technical operations.

Xavier Charles has a diverse education history in the field of information technology. Xavier graduated from Lycée Sacrée Coeur with a Bac Professionel MRBT in Informatique in 1999 and also obtained a BEP electronique in Electronique from the same school in 1997. Xavier has acquired several certifications throughout their career, including Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) from Pearson VUE in September 2013 and an ITIL Foundation certification in 2005. Xavier has attended various training programs and courses in networking, system management, LAN/WAN management, project management, and SQL Server. Some of the institutions they attended for training include CESI Nanterre, Global Knowledge, and Learning Tree International.
