Miguel Francisco MacAalay

Miguel Francisco Macaalay is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in operations and business management across various sectors. Currently serving as a Founding Team Member and Vice President of Operations at PICKUP Coffee since February 2022, Miguel is instrumental in a tech-enabled coffee venture in the Philippines. As Director of Operations at RestaurantConcepts Group, Inc. since April 2016, Miguel oversees multiple restaurant chains. Miguel co-founded Bleeves, the largest provider of blankets with sleeves in the Philippines, and holds a directorial role at Lucky Roasters, focusing on specialty coffee. Previously, Miguel directed E-Commerce Operations at Meatworld International, Inc. and served as COO at Lucky Circle Food Industries Corp. Miguel's early career included roles at Metropolitan Bank and Trust Company, followed by an academic foundation with an MBA from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, and a Bachelor’s degree from Ateneo de Manila University.
